Recruitment coordinator Role Organising and running recruitment events, principally to recruit franchises. There are three types of franchises available in each area, allowing different levels of time and stock commitment. As these franchises have no franchise fees, either to start or later, and much of the other cost like training and portfolios are paid for by the brands these are very attractive franchises where entry cost are a small fraction of others and margins to be made are very high compared to most other franchise opportunities. However as there is no entry fee to franchises, the objective, unlike many other franchise marketing operations, is not just to sell them to anyone with the funds available but to give people the full facts, and allow them fully informed to make up their own minds, therefore there is no pressure or incentive selling of franchises, the organisers of this project only want people to become involved who can see it is for them, know they can make it work and are prepared to put in the work required. Background The GB Pictures art marketing project was set up by a consortium, initially led by a business angel network, and has a number of companies involved each managing one or several roles. Atlantis Virtual World Ltd, is managing the publishing and production of art, working with a number of brands mostly run by individual businesses or companies. Another company is providing framing expertise, another business organizing and running training. H3 Search Limited has the role of organising recruitment, and managing the brand coordinators that will support franchises and act as the link between them and brands as well as undertaking some PR and other brand related tasks. Their brief is to move in a year or so, having supported the brand coordinators to a position where at least some of the best performing brand coordinators are encouraged to become directors and owners of a specialist brand coordinating company that will then take over the role of managing all brand coordinators from H3 Search Ltd. The lucky brand coordinators offered this will get extra training organised by the business angel network in directors roles etc and won't have to pay anything at all for this. Other brand coordinators will continue as before but then be managed by the new company run by brand coordinators instead of H3 Search Ltd. H3 Search Ltd wanted to limit its future time commitment to this project and the recruitment in the longer term will also be organised in another way, perhaps through other specialist companies set up for this, perhaps as simpler arrangement of commissioned service providers, and this is the initial approach being developed, recruitment coordinators being from the start each a commissioned service provider, as are brand coordinators. Commissioned service providers is a term you may have come across, and is becoming a more common way to organise the provision of services, be it a council looking to provide services or a business looking to establish a number of independently run sections to provide jointly a service or product. The concepts if you are interested were developed as a part of what is known as 'the new economic model', and this was masterminded by a group of people and is promoted internationally by NAISC. You can find out more at www.naisc.com if this interests you. What recruitment coordinators do They are commissioned service providers, (see above) that are commissioned to organise and run events and follow up those attending to sign them up where appropriate as franchisees. In effect each is a free standing business that puts on its own events, finding places that are suitable, promoting the events by advertising, posters, press and media relations and in other ways and running the event, later following up on all those who have attended to signing up those who want to become involved. Initially as least they will not put on the presentations themselves, initially this requires someone with far more inside information on the project as well as having examples of work currently being offered and other assets, that would involve cost that H3 Search are keen to avoid recruitment coordinators from having to make. Over time some may take on presentations either on their own or far more likely jointly with franchises who can tell others attending their experience as well as having resources that can be brought along. Particularly to start with it is seen as essential that everyone gets the same presentation and everyone who becomes involved is fully informed, and that this is done in such a way that all those involved in the consortium that set this up, have confidence that this has been fully complied with. H3 Search will initially therefore provide the speaker for all presentations. Assistance with events will be provided by H3 Search Ltd, but you will also have the assistance of brand coordinators in the area, and in some cases recruitment assistants. Some recruitment assistants are likely to be brand coordinators from other areas, providing them with another income stream, although recruitment coordinators can also offer their services to others as recruitment assistants as well. H3 search will also run some events themselves, where no recruitment coordinator is covering an area or where H3 Search want recruitment to run at a faster pace than recruitment coordinators wish. Recruitment coordinators will agree with H3 Search the areas and dates that they will hold events. There is no set number of recruitment coordinators, H3 Search will want to balance the number of recruitment coordinators so that they get a good coverage of areas, but at a rate that the rest of the project can cope, so that there is plenty of training capacity, delivery to franchises can be maintained and existing recruitment coordinators working at a pleasant level of activity. There is no front end cost or fee to become a recruitment coordinator, and providing you do what you say you will, neither is there any fees to pay to H3 Search or anyone else. As the events are yours, organised and put on by you, you will cover your own cost but these need not be high mostly involving the hiring of a place to put on a presentation which could be a hotel, pub or social club function room. Many rugby and similar clubs have quality low cost rooms available, so there is no need to book 5 star hotel facilities. You also need to let people know that events are on, by a combination of newspaper advertising, posters, handouts and in other ways, again promoting one event at a time is not too expensive and a number of small adverts tend to be more cost effective than one large one. When its an area that you are familiar with you can boost the impact by getting around to fish and chip shops with posters, putting cards in shop windows and the like. The project as well is also doing some background advertising plus picking up interest while recruiting brand coordinator, so may also be able to direct mail some already interested people for you. You can also get assistance without cost from brand coordinators in the area, and at a cost have the assistance of recruitment assistants or of course provide your own help. Also offering your service as a recruitment assistant to other recruitment coordinators may be a way of getting an additional income or just balancing up the help recruitment coordinators give to each other. This project encourages a team approach and it is likely that many franchises will also assist as well as introduce more people, as it will give them exposure allow them to make contacts as well as seeing the local teams expand, so is mutually beneficial. Recruitment coordinators are rewarded based upon the number of franchises and types of franchises that sign up. This is not a straight commission as the reward structure takes into account the cost involved in getting the person doing the presentation for you to the events you put on, so in effect you share the profit of the event up to a level where the presenters involvement has been rewarded and get a higher rate above this. This means that if you put on events attended by more people and get more conversions you make a much larger amount than if you put on very small events and then convert very few. The advantage of this arrangement is that it tends to cover better the costs as well as reward those who put the time and effort into making events very effective, as opposed to those who just go for quantity. Appointment of recruitment coordinators. The number of recruitment coordinators will be low compared to all other opportunities in this project, and they are commissioned by H3 Search Ltd, who has to cover the costs fully of working with them, providing event speakers etc. However in the first case to simplify applications and speed up the appointment process we have designed the application procedure to mirror that of brand coordinators so you get the whole picture. to apply complete the form by clicking here. Recruitments assistants are another option, and this may be people who undertake this role specifically or may be either brand coordinators or recruitment coordinators who wish to also offer their services out to either H3 Search or recruitment coordinators. |
