A choice of 3 sessions

1. for artist and photographs, let us explain how to get your work sold.

2. collectors and purchasers, we tell you what to look out for and discuss what makes a good investment.

3.  for those who would like to earn a good living, full or part time, and have an interesting lifestyle, we look at the roles of art consultants, a franchise but with no franchise fee, organised by a non profit company wishing to promote art collecting and interest.

Cost : All are FREE

Session 1. -  Calling all types of artist

Principally aimed at artists and artistic photographers, this session looks at how art is marketed, the requirements, how to get selected and the differences between selling originals and limited editions. We look at the ways of taking your work to the market, direct selling yourself, galleries, art publishers and joint projects, including the new method that GB Pictures have become involved in. We also tell you how to find others not connected with us, who could help.

Come and find out how to go about becoming involved, there is nothing to buy or on sale. Places are limited so please only reserve a place if you are going to come and we suggest you book as early as you can. When all places are full we will build a reserve list and see if we can put on another seminar later.

Presentation is by a Director of GB Pictures who is an art collector, artist and photographer.

Seminar starts promptly at  10:00am  please arrive by 9:45 am

Presentation is one and a half hours followed by the chance to ask questions privately over the next  30 minutes

Session 2. - Selecting and enjoying art

For perhaps the new or potential art collector, this looks at what to select, where to find it, what sort of prices prevail, and discounts, understanding quality, how to look after, avoiding security problems, deciding what is likely to appreciate, and where you can get further assistance. We explain the role GB Pictures plays and the new joint venture project we are involved in with  local Art Consultants, a variety of brands and more. We will have some work for you to see, but nothing for sale at this educational event.

We are recruiting and training local Art Consultants for this area, and you can if you wish, register for one of the first available to contact you and tell you more on specific art editions available and help you select what is most suitable for you.

Presentation is by a Director of GB Pictures who is an art collector, artist and photographer.

Seminar starts promptly at  1pm  please arrive by 12:45

Presentation is one and a half hours followed by the chance to ask questions privately over the next 30 minutes

Session 3 - Assisting others to collect fine art

Although GB Pictures is a non profit organisation,  we realise that others wish to make a good living as well as enjoy what they do, so have become involved in a consortium project led by a business angel network. This project has teams of local Art Consultants, which are low cost franchises available in 4 styles or sizes, with no up front franchise fees. This session looks in some detail at this project and how you can become involved.  3 styles  hold some stock, but by working as a member of a local team this is reduced. As training and everything needed is provided, this is a practical proposition for anyone who would enjoy helping others to select works of art. The emphasis is on quality, and building a long term friendship with clients, pressure selling techniques are not allowed. There is a lot of other assistance, and we also run educational events like this, where nothing is on sale.

As a part of this presentation you are given a self study review sheet that allows you to estimate the likely sales and calculate what you would earn. This has instructions so you can take it home and work it out for yourself, although calculators and a computer programme is available to work it out for you on the day if you wish. We give you the facts, you decide if it is right for you. We only want those who really are enthusiastic to take up the limited opportunities.

As opportunities are limited, if you feel this may interest you, then please try to attend this time. Franchises without any up front franchise fees are just about unheard of, so we expect all opportunities to rapidly be filled.

Presentation is by the Chairman of GB Pictures, your chance to get the full facts.

Seminar starts promptly at  3:15pm please arrive by 3pm

Presentation is one and a half hours followed by the chance to ask questions privately over the next  45 minutes.

 This event is completely FREE
